Welcome to Sumiya

Sumiya - Japanese Charcoal Grill Restaurant Casual Yakitori Restaurant, Sumiya aims to be a restaurant that satisfies customers comprehensively from its exquisite dishes to its services. In order to provide the best food possible, constant effort is made in seeking the best way to grill the yakitori chicken. We strive to find any improvement points despite our confidence in the carefully designed Japanese charcoal grilling style. The entire kitchen staff offers their ideas to develop new menus and introduce new food materials to differentiate from other restaurants. We never settle with where we are, but aggressively seek to provide new pleasantly surprising dishes. Customer service is another important factor in deciding what kind of ambience you wish to have for dining. All of our staff loves to serve our customers and love people. We strive to provide the most satisfying service possible, and discuss ways to entertain our customers and improve our services. Please feel free to talk to our staff with whatever request or interest you have. Interacting with our customers is actually what we look forward to doing. Sumiya will keep evolving day by day. We hope to serve you at our restaurant!

Great place! Super friendly staff, extremely yummy udon, ramen, skewers with chicken and salmon! Randomly ordered and everything was just above and beyond! Will come back one day!

Delicious food, we ordered the Don yakitori and option #1, Don chicken katsu and potatoes with garlic butter. Skewers were amazing! Food is great. It’s a very small restaurant, so yes come early, there’s a line. Ample parking (for once in the Bay Area).

Very good food. The lunch menu is limited and you don't get to order off the more extensive yakitori menu but the offerings that were available were on point. Def a must try
